However, the National Plant Genetic Resources Laboratory (NPGRL) of IPB is having a hard time propagating the needed plantlets due to contamination. There is no available Latundan plantlets in other plant tissue culture laboratories and nurseries.
The project's request for three-month extension without additional funding was approved in order for the project to catch-up the delayed activities.
